Weekend of Living History in Edenton
The GFWC Edenton Woman’s Club members celebrate its heritage with a popular biennial Edenton Pilgrimage Tour of Private Homes and Historic Sites. Enjoy an enchanting self-guided tour through the heart of Historic Edenton and the surrounding countryside at this event highlighting prime examples of beautiful homes with architecture spanning across two centuries. Greeters in period costumes bring southern hospitality to the two-day event.
Funds raised by tour ticket sales at this event support preservation and restoration of historic buildings and artifacts and projects that promote history through education and programming in Edenton and Chowan County. The GFWC EWC is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization.
